Chap -12 (New Twist) 🀩

Days passed on......

Dev's Grandmother died ....

________________

Devraj's daily routine was a never-ending nightmare for Shalini. Every evening, he would come home drunk, his eyes blazing with a menacing intensity. The slightest mistake would set him off, and he would beat Shalini mercilessly with his belt, leaving her with painful welts and bruises.

But the physical pain was only part of the abuse. Devraj would also force himself on Shalini, ignoring her pleas and tears. He would claim that he loved her, but his actions spoke of a twisted obsession.

To make matters worse, Devraj would put on a charade of being a loving and caring brother-in-law to Shalini's brother. He would lavish him with attention and gifts, making it seem like he was a devoted family man.

But behind closed doors, Devraj's true nature would emerge. One day, in a fit of rage, he burnt Shalini's arms with cigars, the smell of charred flesh making her stomach churn. He then tied her up, cutting her thighs with a razor-sharp blade.

The pain was excruciating as he poured alcohol on the wounds, watching with a twisted grin as Shalini screamed in agony.

As time passed, Devraj's behavior became increasingly erratic. He would lash out at Shalini for no reason, his eyes flashing with a psychotic intensity. Her bruises would multiply daily, and she would live in constant fear, never knowing when the next blow would come.

Shalini felt like a fragile, broken doll, shattered by Devraj's relentless cruelty. Her spirit was crushed, her soul battered. She wondered if she would ever escape the hellhole that her life had become.

"Open the door, Shalini!" Devraj's slurred voice echoed through the hallway.

Shalini's heart sank as she hesitantly opened the door. Devraj stumbled in, barely able to stand upright. He was accompanied by a stunningly beautiful girl, with long, straight hair and blonde highlights.

Shalini's eyes widened in horror as Devraj grabbed her hand, dragging her to the floor. The girl giggled, her eyes glassy from alcohol.

"Devraj, stop!" Shalini pleaded, trying to pull away.

But Devraj was too far gone. He started making out with the girl, right in front of Shalini. Shalini's face burned with shame and humiliation.

Dev making out with another woman infront of his wife 😀

"Stop it, Devraj! Please!" Shalini begged, trying to push them apart.

But Devraj was relentless. He finally dragged Shalini to their bedroom, slamming the door shut behind them. Shalini pounded on the door, screaming to be let out.

After what felt like an eternity, the girl left, and Devraj stumbled out of the bedroom. Shalini was a mess, her face streaked with tears.

She ran to Devraj, falling at his feet. "Why, Devraj? Why did you do that to me?" she sobbed, clinging to his legs.

Devraj looked down at her, his eyes still cloudy from alcohol. For a moment, Shalini thought she saw a flicker of guilt. But then, his expression hardened.

Dev captivated in alcohol.

"You're just my wife, Shalini," he sneered. "You'll do what I say, and you'll never question me."She felt devastated and her vision blurred for a moment.

That night Shalini decided to leave him forever.. her ego kicked in and she thought for the last time she would see him ... She decided to take her life ,but she never wanted to do that in Dev's house .

Shalini approached drunk Dev .-

Shalini's tearful eyes locked onto Devraj's as she whispered, "I'm going."

Devraj's face contorted in anxiety. "Where? Where are you going?"

Shalini's voice trembled. "You'll never have me, Dev. You lost me. You lost me forever."

Devraj's eyes widened in desperation. "What about your brother? Abir?"

Shalini's smile was a heart-wrenching mix of sadness and resignation. "For him, I can die. I can kill. But I know you won't harm him. You've already won his heart, and he loves you. You two have bonded so well."

She took a step closer, her eyes brimming with tears. "Devraj, I want to hug you for the last time."

As she wrapped her arms around him, Devraj felt a lump form in his throat. Shalini's hug was tight, desperate, and filled with a deep sadness.

She looked up at his lips, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Then, Shalini's lips brushed against Devraj's in a kiss that was more tears than passion.

As they pulled away, Shalini's voice cracked. "Dev, I've kept your favorite coffee on the upper rack in the kitchen. Tell the maids they might not find it; I hope you do. Maybe I was unfit to be your wife."

Her eyes pleaded with him. "Please take care of Abir. I know you love him too. And please, don't try to find me."

With those final words, Shalini turned and walked away, leaving Devraj stunned his alcoholic mind could not process what's going on .The sound of the gate closing behind her echoed through the silence, a haunting reminder that she was really gone.

Shalini walked aimlessly, her feet carrying her away from the hellhole she had escaped. She had no destination in mind, no plan, no nothing. Just a desperate desire to get away.

As she turned a corner, she heard a faint whimpering sound. She followed the sound and saw a tiny puppy, no more than a few weeks old, cowering in the middle of the highway.

A truck was barreling down the road, oblivious to the tiny creature in its path. Without hesitation, Shalini rushed onto the highway, scooping up the puppy just in time.

But as she turned to make her way back to the sidewalk, a silver luxury car came out of nowhere, hitting her with a sickening thud. Shalini's world went dark as she crumpled to the ground.

The driver of the car, a handsome young man with a look of horror on his face, leapt out of the vehicle. "Oh my god!" he exclaimed, rushing to Shalini's side.

(New Handsome 😜 in market) 😁

As he gently turned her over, he caught a glimpse of her face. Suddenly, his eyes widened in recognition.

The handsome man checking if she was alive .

"Omg... I've seen her somewhere... I just can't remember..." he muttered to himself.

He quickly pulled out his phone and dialed for an ambulance. As they waited for help to arrive, he cradled Shalini's head in his lap, stroking her hair gently.

When the ambulance finally arrived, the young man accompanied Shalini to the hospital, his mind racing with memories he couldn't quite place. Who was this mysterious woman, and why did he feel such a strong connection to her?πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ
